About this design

A tricorn hat, a green scarf and a small brown horse.

The story behind it

Caesar Rodney was one of Delaware's three delegates to the Continental Congress. When the vote on independence came up in early July 1776, the other two delegates were split, so word was sent to Rodney, who was nearly 80 miles away in Dover. He rode through the night of July 1 in rain and thunder and reached Philadelphia on July 2 in time to cast the tie-breaking vote for Delaware. He had facial cancer and asthma, and he is said to have often worn a scarf over his face.

Proposed colors: Natural

Mockups show the print at true scale on a size M tee. Colors are proposed, not final.
