The story behind it
In Lewis Carroll's 1865 book, it is always six o'clock at the Hatter's tea party, so it is always tea time and the cups never stop. The Hatter wears a tall top hat with a paper price ticket tucked in the band, a detail from the original 1865 illustrations by John Tenniel, and this design is drawn in the spirit of those illustrations.
