About this design
A cheerful slice of pumpkin pie crowned with whipped cream.
The story behind it
Pumpkin pie almost certainly missed the 1621 autumn feast at Plymouth, since the settlers there had no ovens and little butter or wheat flour for a crust. It came along later and became the dessert many families serve to finish the Thanksgiving meal. It missed the first feast, but now it gets the last word.
