About this design

A braided beard, a chisel and a freshly carved runestone.

The story behind it

Across medieval Scandinavia, especially in the 10th and 11th centuries, families raised carved runestones in memory of the people they had lost. Thousands still stand today, most of them in Sweden. Many say almost the same thing: a son or daughter raised this stone in memory of their father, and some carvers even signed their work.

Mockups show the print at true scale on a size M tee. Colors are proposed, not final.
