About this design
A grey curled wig, a raised finger, a quill and a few coins.
The story behind it
Patrick Henry made his name as a young Virginia lawyer in the 1763 Parsons' Cause, when the jury awarded the clergyman only a token sum in damages. On March 23, 1775, at the Second Virginia Convention in St. John's Church in Richmond, he gave his most famous speech, urging Virginia to raise a militia. No transcript was made at the time. The familiar text was reconstructed decades later by William Wirt in an 1817 biography, so the exact words are debated.
Proposed colors: Natural
Mockups show the print at true scale on a size M tee. Colors are proposed, not final.
